No. It helps build and organize a research base around the matter. Authorities and legal propositions remain subject to the lawyer's verification and professional judgment.
How does the system handle legal sources?
The law library is separated by Nepal and India jurisdiction. Stored authorities can include source links, citation metadata and later-treatment information; material not found in the library is marked as not in the library rather than treated as verified support.
Can I work with my own case documents?
Yes. A matter can include typed facts and private PDF, DOCX, TXT or Markdown material. Extracted text remains attached to its source document for review and reference.
How does matter memory work?
Each stage contributes to a versioned matter record. As documents and analysis develop, the workspace preserves the structured sections and their history instead of requiring the lawyer to reconstruct the context.
Can I review how an argument was constructed?
Yes. Arguments, counterarguments, research and briefs remain visible as separate matter sections, while the Case Memory and audit history preserve the structured output and versions.
Can the system identify weaknesses?
It can surface evidence gaps, contradictions, missing supporting material, plausible counterarguments and weak authority support for systematic lawyer review. It does not predict the outcome of a case.
Does it replace lawyer judgment?
No. Lex Sutra is a preparation and review workspace. Legal conclusions, citation verification, strategy and filing decisions remain lawyer-controlled.
What happens as the case develops?
New material can be added to the same saved matter. The workspace retains earlier analysis and flags when evidence review may be stale, helping the lawyer reassess the structure as facts change.
